BlogMas 2015 Day Twenty Two! - Nirbhaya

Hello, everybody! And it's BlogMas Day Twenty Two!
Boring, boring boring day. Just literally lied around all day doing nothing. On the flip side, I reckon, I needed that.

I also updated myself with all the news going about since I was unable to do so in the past couple weeks, since I had dived my nose into laptop and books. So the juvenile convicted in the Nirbhaya case was released without having his identity made known. What a decision, System, what a decision! The guy who was violent enough to shove a rod inside a woman and pull out her insides with his hands was just a curious puberty-stricken teenager, looking for a quick nookie, and definitely should be given a chance to make a life for himself.

Now the respected society of this country has nothing to say about anybody being intolerant, or any action that has been taken to be intolerant for the victim's parents. Because the bloody juvenile law of this country says so. All the convicts confessed of the juvenile to be the most merciless of them all. Outside the prospect of holding comprehensive ability to understand their plight, I don't even wish to think about how Nirbhaya's parents are holding up through this ordeal. All they asked was for the convict to be revealed, so that whatever happened to their daughter can be avoided, by letting masses be aware of this person and to run a mile from him in the opposite direction. It hasn't been uncommon for the altered judgements to be passed. Now, in a case, where it is not just the question of justice to Nirbhaya, but also a question of protecting other women who may come into contact with that hellion in future, the country has to open up their books and act on all the damn laws.

Hello, people. Welcome to India. Where a superstar's hit-and-run is overlooked, and so is a convict of the world's most brutal rape. We really are a free state, people. Everyone can be free. Killers, rapists, psychopaths, corrupts. Just name it. No joke.
By the time new year hits, we're all going to forget this. Because that's what we do best, and that's why this all happens - we forget.

This one is not about Christmas, guys. It's about doing right. And that is what Christmas is about.
Have a calmer night, y'all.

Until then.
